COST OF LIVING CRISIS

WINSHILL PARISH PLAN

Following a lengthy consultation exercise the Parish Plan Council has been completed.  Following the public meeting at Winshill Neighbourhood Resource Centre further ideas have now been accommodated in the final version which has been delivered to every household in the Parish.  The Parish Council in conjunction with other organisations will look to implement the measures put forward in the Plan.

WINSHILL NEIGHBOURHOOD DEVELOPMENT PLAN

The Neighbourhood Plan has now been approved by a Government Inspector and following the overwhelming vote in favour at the referendum held in the Parish on Thursday 25th January in 2018 it has now been adopted as planning policy by East Staffordshire Borough Council.

PARISH COUNCIL MEETINGS

The next meeting of the Parish Council will be on Wednesday 20 March  2024 at  7.30 pm in the Resource Centre in Canterbury Road. Members of the public are welcome to attend.

PARISH COUNCIL PRECEPT 2023 – 2024

Winshill Parish Council Members agreed at the December 2022 meeting not to increase the Parish Council Precept (included as part of the overall Council Tax) for the seventh year running.  This is set at just over 50 pence per week for an average Band D property.

PARISH COUNCIL CHAIRMAN

At the annual meeting of the Parish Council in May 2023 the members unanimously agreed to re-elect Councillor Dennis Fletcher as Chairman and Councillor John Batten as Vice-Chairman.
